Junk Model Say
Page Summary
This activity includes offering a question based on a particular subject and then inviting the children / young people to respond by making a junk sculpture model.
You Will Require
- Junk such as boxes, straws, foil, wool (you can get items from a scrap store)
- String, PVA glue, Sellotape (or other bonding martials)
- Pens
What To Do
The idea is to offer a question based on a particular subject.
Then invite the children / young people to respond by making a junk sculpture model. They can include words or sentences if they like to help explain what they want to say. This can be done individually or in small groups.
Encourage discussion while they are making their models and invite each individual / group to feedback and explain their model. It is a good idea to take notes and photographs of each model. These can be then be displayed and fed back to the PCC and other stakeholders.
